                                                =====================

VFW Post 3348 uses services at the satellite VA Clinic (which is moving from Lake City to Edmonds in 2021), the VA Hospital on Beacon Hill in Seattle, our Service Officer (Tim Miller) is very engaged in helping veterans. The Joint Service Committee (JSC) started in VFW Post 3348, which was initially called the "Service Team". They work with any Honorably Discharged Veteran who has valid health concerns. When the Service Team membership continued to grow, the Post Commander renamed them the Service Committee.

That way it better fit under the VFW guidelines. The name was again changed to The Joint Service Committee (JSC) when they moved out of the Post and got their own bank account. VFW Post 3348 members work alongside with The JSC, and our VFW Post supports them financially --- mainly because they continue to get great results for the veterans they help.

The Joint Service Committee is currently not holding in-person interviews but when they do meet in-person again, after COVID-19 is gone, it will be at the Fleet Reserve in Montlake Terrace. When are meeting in-person again, you can just show up there on any Tuesday. If you prefer an appointment, call Rob Caldwell @ (206) 963-2864.

Comrade Caldwell is a licensed attorney and is certified by the VA. He is very thorough when helping veterans battling with the VA --- specializing in helping veterans with PTSD. He has a commendable record winning applications with the VA for a high Disability rating. However, Rob is very adept at filing an Appeal after a veteran's initial application has been denied. Rob does not accept denials.
