Thom Fermstad
3-Year Trustee - Army

U.S. Army, Vietnam, retired after 36+ years with the Seattle Seahawks as their Video Director. At the time, he was the longest serving employee of the NFL Seattle Seahawks Football team. Born 1949.
When the new football stadium was built, the space allocated to the Video department for recording game film, was near the very top of the stadium.  Thom had lobbied for an elevator, but it was cut from the budget.
Thom and his crew, every game day, had to walk up 450 steps to get their booth. In 2022, Thom was honored for his 36 years of service with an award and plague showing the new name of their booth as "Mount Fermstad".
Thom is the editor of the VFW Post 3348 monthly newsletter, sends our birthday cards to members on their birthday, prints all of our VFW business cards and, as Adjutant, is also in charge of maintaining all our member records.

Our programs support our service members while they are on the front line, as they are being discharged and long after they return. Your tax-deductible donation will be immediately directed to the VFW programs where your support is most urgently needed.
